Howley Green

Product Description

Some of our designs are based on actual houses while others are inspired by ideas, and that's the case with Howley Green. If you place Howley Green, Fleming White and Bond Pink together - in that order - you will create a subtle and unique recreation of the old Republic of Newfoundland flag. Howley Green is named after Bishop Michael Howley, while the other two are named for Bishop Michael Fleming and Sir Robert Bond; all three important Newfoundlanders during the mid 1800s to early 1900s. These three pieces are not based on specific houses on these streets, but the flat front - no mansard roof or bay window - is the most common house in the downtown and occurs on virtually every street.
