Original art. Cool heritage. Wild colors. Unique concept. Based on real houses on the oldest streets in North America.

Jellybean Row is the hottest new thing in home décor. Fusing bold color with warm tradition, Jellybean Row is a collectible series of wall hangings inspired by the vibrant heritage homes of St. John’s, Newfoundland. However, their Victorian charm is a hit across North America. Choose the designs you like, in small or large size, and create your own Jellybean Row.

“I love to collect art work from the places I have lived,” said Nadine Critchley, of Ontario. “I can tell you, nothing draws the eye quite like the Jellybean Row houses! They have become quite the conversation piece in my home.”

Using art created exclusively by our design team, Jellybean Row is printed on acid free paper using light fast inks. It is laminated and plaque mounted, ready for easy hanging. Because there are no frames, the houses can be placed together, creating a genuine ‘row house’ effect.

“I was searching for a new, colorful local print to brighten my office when I came across the Jellybean Row houses,” said Sean Kelly, of St. John’s. “I bought three pieces and hung them tightly together on my wall, so that they looked like a print from a distance. They were an instant hit, and generated quite a buzz around the office. Within a few days, several of my co-workers placed a group order for 30 pieces!”

Jellybean Row is available in two sizes. The large series (9” by 16.5”) works as an artistic centerpiece, anywhere you would hang a piece of fine art. The small size (5” wide by 8.5” deep) is ideal for smaller rooms, hallways or as an accent anywhere. They also work on a diagonal, adding personality to stairwells and rooms with vaulted ceilings. Do you have a décor challenge? Then Jellybean Row is your solution.

“There has been a dead space in our hallway, above two doors, that nothing would fill,” said Peter Sansom, of Scotland. “I tried various pictures, masks and artwork, but nothing quite did it. I am pleased to say that your artwork was just what was needed to add some much needed colour to my rather dull hallway space. Every time I see it, it makes me smile.”

Jellybean Row has attracted a flurry of media attention, including profiles in national magazines, and is quickly becoming a hit across North America.

“I saw Jellybean Row profiled at www.elfster.com,” wrote Susan Kramer, of Michigan. “I fell in love with the bright colours and classic Victorian style, and just had to own them. Everyone who sees them stops and says ‘Wow’!”

“I absolutely love all your houses and would like to have one of each!” wrote Joyce Hoover, of Arkansas. “You should get these out to public attention in the USA!  What a great idea you have and such talent and imagination! I think folks in the USA would just go crazy for them and snap them up!”

But there’s more - the complete series of 12 houses has been reissued for Christmas, with added snow, lights, decorations and a subtle dusk light that brings out the warm glow of an old-fashioned family Christmas. Collectors can switch out the original series for the Christmas series as the holiday season approaches. When properly lit, the windows glow as if powered from within. It instantly, almost magically, changes the look of a room.

“It is always difficult to figure out what to buy my mom for Christmas, but when I saw your Christmas Jellybean Row collection I knew I had found something special,” said Nadine Critchley, of Ontario. “My mother loves the colorful grouping I selected – and when people come to visit over the holidays the Jellybean houses receive the most compliments. I can’t thank you enough!”

Jellybean Row won the Best Booth Award at the Christmas at the Glacier event, the largest fair of its kind in Newfoundland, with 150 exhibitors and 25,000 guests over five days. The award was chosen by a vote of the shoppers themselves, based on product quality and booth presentation. There were some tremendous booths at the show, so we are quite pleased with this award. Special thanks to Steve Meeker, who designed and constructed the booth.
